The funkiest little festival you’ve never heard of.

Le Grande Roosh is a group of friends who love to party, dancers, DJ's, singers, musicians, artists, performers, and actors. Le Grande Roosh August 27th-30th is our annual general meeting and glorious shindig. We have grown from house parties, to a mansion party to what can only be described as a ‘micro’ festival (it’s tiny) this micro-festival has only been possible to put on with the help of these friends using their skills, talents, time and energy to create something beautiful that can be shared and enjoyed by all. We are happy to welcome you and hope that you too enjoy the fun, and friendly family gathering that is Le Grande Roosh.

For those of you new to Roosh ‘Roosh’ means ‘to add excitement, give energy to, dress something up, to add sparkles and spangles, to create a warm, fun, friendly atmosphere.’

A key element of this weekend is Fancy dress day, get your rooshings on!  This year the theme is gypsies, tramps and thieves on Saturday.  Gypsy Rose lee, pirates of the sea, trailer trash, tramps with no cash, cat burglars, hookers, fagin, oliver twist I hope you get the gist. 

Set on a beautiful farm with picturesque views across the downs, it's own woodland walk and trails across the downs anda pretty village with an ancient pub in walking distance. We have a little cafe on site with healthy and vegetarian options, plus tea on tap. We even have a boudoir..once out of the showers come into the boudoir and help yourselves to hairdryers, curlers, straightners, products and mirrors what more could you ask for. ....

What’s on

throughout the weekend we have live music, dance performance, Dj's  workshops and childrens activities.  Including Main marquee: Nutty NRGwill be kicking off the weekend with a positive vibe and a lot of soul, We have The FabulousLounge Swingers- catch em on Sundays as Big brothers little Brothers live band! we have a feast for your eyes and earswith the Texas Chainsaw Orchestra an experience you won't forget! The Garden City Project will beperforming and there's more more more.. We have range of DJ talent including, John Hughes, DJ Tooloose, Liam n Jim, Danny Oncell, DJ Gravy and others to be confirmed.

In the Soul Tent we have activities throughout the day starting with Yoga. We have so much stuff for the kids too including flag making, and a fancy dress workshop to pimp your outfits, our face painters are also on hand to get you truly 'rooshed' and ready for the fancy dress parade.....there are prizes to be had so get creative. on Sunday Kids craft with Emma and Mandy followed by Relax kids with the beautiful parachute.

After the music has finished relax round the campfire or in the hammock den.

There'll be plenty of extras and surprises for you throughout the weekend.
